NeuroZen — for clinicians integrating brain-health work.
A 12-week self-paced certification covering qEEG-informed brain-health principles, biofeedback basics, and how to weave brain-rhythm thinking into the clinical work you already do. Built by Dr Ash Connell.
Designed for the clinicians already doing the work.
NeuroZen was built specifically for the practitioners we see referring patients into and out of brain-health care every week — but who often want a deeper structural understanding of what's actually happening in the brain.
- Massage therapists and myotherapists — adding nervous-system framing to manual work
- Naturopaths and nutritionists — integrating brain-supportive nutrition into protocols
- Wellness coaches — building a clinical foundation for what they're already coaching
- Allied-health clinicians — physios, OTs, exercise physiologists adding brain-rhythm thinking
- Mental health support workers and counsellors — who want a neurobiology layer to their work
You don't need a clinical neuroscience degree to enrol. You do need a current professional registration in your primary modality, and a real clinical practice the work can plug into.
12 modules. Self-paced. Live monthly Q&A.
Foundations
Brain anatomy refresher · functional neuroanatomy · the autonomic nervous system · vagal tone · neuroplasticity basics.
qEEG & brain rhythms
What a qEEG measures · the major brain rhythms · how to read a topographic map · what dysregulation looks like.
Six modalities at a glance
qEEG · neurofeedback · biofeedback · functional neurological exercises · neuro-nutrition · mind-body work — what each does and how they sequence.
Common patterns
The brain-rhythm signatures of anxiety, ADHD, low mood, post-concussion, sleep dysregulation. What to look for in your own clients.
Integrating the work
How to introduce brain-health framing into your existing sessions. When to refer to a qEEG-led clinic. How to coordinate with primary medical and mental-health care.
Certification & directory
Final assessment, case-formulation submission, listing on the NeuroZen practitioner directory.
Ready to add brain-health rigour to your practice?
Enrolment opens quarterly. Cohorts are small to keep the live Q&A useful. Pricing and the next cohort start date are on the Vital Force enrolment page.
Scope of practice for graduates. NeuroZen does not authorise graduates to perform qEEG examinations or deliver neurofeedback unless they hold the relevant primary-profession registration and equipment certifications. NeuroZen is structured-knowledge training, not a substitute for the clinical certifications it teaches alongside.
